Terms of Service
Last updated: April 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SafeNode service and related websites. By using SafeNode, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service
SafeNode provides a policy firewall for AI agents: you send us action descriptions, we return allow/warn/review/deny decisions based on your policies, and we store evaluations and audit data. We only collect functional data needed to run the service; we do not sell your data or serve ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Account and responsibility
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure. You are responsible for how you use the API and for the actions you send for evaluation. You must not use the service for illegal purposes or to violate others’ rights.
API use
Use of the SafeNode API (e.g. the evaluate endpoint) is subject to these Terms and to any rate limits or usage caps we apply. You must not abuse the API (e.g. excessive requests, attempting to circumvent limits). We may suspend or terminate API access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons.
Billing
If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees described at the time of sign-up. Billing is handled by Stripe; their terms apply to payment processing. We may change pricing with notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Refunds are handled in line with our stated policy at the time of purchase.
Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for operational or legal reasons. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for decisions you make based on our allow/deny output; you remain responsible for your systems and use of the API.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where prohibited.
